Wonderful experience being trained byโ€ฆ
Asuenimhen Harrison

"Wonderful experience being trained by Ben McCarty. He knows his job very well. Give us the trainees opportunities to express ourselves, ask questions and respond to them accordingly. But he is sometimes too fast with words that some of us who are not English native speakers sometimes find it a little difficult to follow along. But heโ€™s a great trainer."

Completed the DS Top up course with Get licensed and passed. Adame who trained us was great, very professional and down to earth guy. Even though heโ€™s had various jobs and years of experience in security he just treats you like a equal, no better than anyone attitude which is good. Professional training by trainers who WANT you to pass not a back street company. Will be definitely back again for further training. Thank you.

Getting To Your CCTV Training Course In Manchester

Venue location

AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre, 15 Mason St, Manchester, M4 5FT.

By Train

The city of Manchester is served by four train stations and a number of trams. If you are arriving into Manchester from either of the three train stations to the south of the city, Deansgate, Piccadilly or Oxford Road, it's best to jump onto a connecting train or tram to arrive at Manchester Victoria Station, which is the closest to the venue:

Manchester Victoria Train Station

Victoria Station Approach, Manchester M3 1WY.

From Manchester Victoria train station, you are just a ten-minute walk to get to the venue. From the station, walk southeast on Victoria Station Approach towards Long Millgate, turning left onto it after 135 feet. After around 260 feet, you will turn right onto Hanover Street. After 0.2 miles, turn left onto Shudehill, then take a slight right onto Rochdale Road. Turn right onto Swan Street for 300 feet, finally turning left onto Mason Street, where the venue is located.

Parking

There is no parking provided at AC Hotel by Marriot; however, there is excellent value parking available at Gould Street for around £3.00 per day. And it's just a six-minute walk from the venue. There is other parking available, but it's far more pricey and further away. For this reason, we suggest heading to just.park.com and pre-booking in advance.

Walkability

There's little you can't get done in Manchester. Classified as a walker's paradise, there are ATMs, banks, restaurants, cafes, shops, and pharmacies. If you want to clear your head, stretch your legs and burn off some calories, head to nearby parks, including Piccadilly Gardens, Sackville Gardens and the Mamucium.

Accommodation

If you are stopping over for your course, here are our top recommendations for a budget-friendly stay. The Rahmann Picadilly Hostel is located in the heart of the city centre with great prices and facilities. This modern, clean hostel provides free wifi and free parking, and you can order a continental breakfast for a small additional cost. If you prefer not to share but want to keep the cost down, our top pick is Averill Street Guesthouse, just three miles from the centre. This beautifully decorated hotel offers free wifi, tea and coffee-making facilities and free parking. Finally, the Campanile, just a 15-minute walk from the city, offers a restaurant, bar, free wifi, TV-on-demand movies, 24-hour desk and a bath, and is the best value in miles.

Food

There is virtually every branded shop or fast-food outlet that we Brits love. Whether it’s a sandwich deal from M&S, Boots, Tesco’s or Pret a Manger, Manchester has it. There are Burger Kings, Mcdonalds and Five Guys for burger lovers. And chicken lovers can head to KFC or Dixy Chicken. Fancy a pasty? Then there are several Greggs, and coffee lovers can head to Costa or Starbucks. If you want to try something new and independent, close to the venue are Cali’s Cafe and Cafe North. Healthy eaters should try out the Craft Centre Cafe, while those needing a sugar fix can head to the nearby Black Milk, serving speciality desserts and shakes.
